Description
- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's objectives.
- Manage the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and financial legislation.
- Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business decision-making.
- Drive improvements in financial processes and systems for greater efficiency.
Profile
A successful Head of Finance should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) or QBE.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
