Job Description

Job Title: Head of Partner Development - Cloud

Location: Home & Field-Based

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Leader to oversee and manage a team of Partner Development Managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, partner development & strategic oversight. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to drive performance, and a collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with other teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight and direction to the Partner Development Managers.
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Manage team performance, set goals, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Encourage a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Support the Partner Development Managers with their customer conversations as an escalation point/leadership touchpoint
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align partner development strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and implement best practices for partner engagement and relationship management.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide insights to the team to stay ahead of the competition.

    Essential Experience

    • Proven track record in sales leadership and relationship management within the IT industry, particularly in selling to or through partners, with a focus on strategic engagements.
    • In-depth knowledge of cloud solutions and services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and the ability to leverage this knowledge to drive business growth.
    • Experience working with major cloud vendors such as Microsoft or AWS, and the ability to leverage these relationships to drive business growth.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and expand partner spend, with a focus on high-impact engagements.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in coaching team members.
  • Understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape in the cloud computing market, and the ability to develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Familiarity with vendor programs and the ability to leverage them to drive business growth, with a focus on strategic engagements.

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
