Head of People Experience | Transformational People Leader | Remote / Hybrid

Our client, a fast-paced, PE-backed business undergoing significant transformation, is seeking a Head of People Experience to act as a trusted strategic partner to the Chief People Officer. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
The Role
This is a high impact role with dual focus:
- Lead Employee Relations: Take ownership of a small but high-performing ER team. You will provide expert advice, manage complex cases, and ensure legal compliance, turning day-to-day processes into a smooth, high-functioning operation.
- Drive Strategic People Initiatives: Partner closely with the CPO to develop and deliver programs across engagement, culture, D&I, wellbeing, talent, and workforce planning. You’ll translate ideas into actionable strategies that improve retention, performance, and the overall colleague experience.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a self-starting leader who thrives in an environment where no two days are the same. You’ll balance the tactical with the strategic, managing ER while driving initiatives that genuinely “move the needle” across the business.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive senior-level Employee Relations expertise, including tribunals, the Employment Rights Act, TUPE, and restructuring.
- Broad generalist HR experience across talent, culture, D&I, wellbeing, and workforce planning.
- A Red-Blue Insights profile: agile, resilient, self-starting, and capable of setting the pace in a demanding environment.
- Track record of designing and implementing people strategies that enhance engagement, retention, and performance.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills.
- Experience in “gritty,” high-pressure sectors (construction, logistics, healthcare) is a plus, but not essential.

- Salary: Up to £85,000
- Bonus: £15,000 company performance-based
- Car Allowance: £7,000 per annum
