This isn't a desk-bound administrative role. As the Head of Reactive Works, you are the operational engine of our business. You hold full end-to-end authority over the Reactive Maintenance department, serving as the bridge between our technical field teams and our high-profile client base.
We are looking for a rare leader: someone as comfortable managing a P&L and a technical team as they are building high-level rapport with stakeholders.

- Full People Ownership: Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of our handyman staff. You have the authority to manage the team’s lifecycle, including hiring and performance reviews.
- Operational Excellence: Set clear daily expectations to ensure First Time Fix rates remain high and client disruption stays low.
3. Operational & Commercial Management
- Commercial Authority: Direct responsibility for equipment and material procurement while maintaining strict cost control.
- P&L Stewardship: Manage the department’s daily spend against the budget, identifying opportunities to reduce waste and drive profitability.

- The Professional: You are highly presentable, articulate, and confident. You can translate technical speak into clear, reassuring updates for non-technical clients.
- The Fixer: You have a tools-to-management mindset and the resilience to stay calm while managing multiple urgent reactive fires at once.
- The Strategist: You have a sharp eye for costs, commercial grit, and the maturity to lead a mobile workforce by example.
- Experience: Proven track record managing a mobile maintenance or reactive works team.
- Communication: Exceptional conflict-resolution skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Commercial Acumen: Hands-on experience managing budgets, P&L, and resource allocation.
