We are a thriving, successful and happy infant and nursery school located within the village of Marsden, in the beautiful Colne Valley, approximately 6 miles west of Huddersfield. The school is an LA maintained school with very strong links to a friendly and supportive local community.
The school has 97 children currently on roll and a PAN of 60 and is currently experiencing a period of lower pupil numbers, reflecting national demographic trends. The role requires strong strategic leadership to ensure financial sustainability while maintaining educational quality.
The school offers a governor led nursery, a reception class and three KS1 classes. The school works closely with other early years settings in the village, and with Marsden Junior School where most of our children progress to.
