The pupils, staff and governors of Peasmarsh Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint a Headteacher with commitment, enthusiasm and vision to lead the school into the next stage of its development, with effect from 1st September 2026.

This appointment also offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to further develop the strong partnership this outward facing school has as part of the of the Genesis Federation. This will offer the opportunities for us to champion best practice and secure excellent achievement for all pupils, within a culture of mutual respect, support and challenge.

You will be be an exceptional and inspirational leader, sharing our Christian ethos and values, with the vision and drive to lead the school on its journey of continuing improvement. You will be energetic, self-motivated and consistent in your approach

with responsibility for the strategic, instructional and operational leadership of the school.

This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018.  

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.  

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
