Health And Wellbeing Physiologist – Primary Care Division

Location: London Central/Canary Wharf

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Shifts Pattern: This is a hybrid position, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Contract Type: Permanent

Reporting Line: Health and Wellbeing Programme Manager

Due to continued business growth, we are pleased to offer an internal opportunity to join our established Wellbeing Programme Team in a newly created position, expanding this team of 4 Physiologists to 5.

As a Wellbeing & Health Assessment Physiologist, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based health assessments, personalised lifestyle coaching, and targeted wellbeing interventions to employees of one of our corporate clients. This is a hybrid position working onsite at our Corporate Clients premises, but will also have an opportunity to work from home for virtual consultations.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Delivering proactive in-person and virtual health checks (e.g., cholesterol, blood glucose, blood pressure)
  • Providing one-to-one coaching using motivational interviewing and behaviour change techniques
  • Creating personalised wellbeing plans covering physical health, nutrition, mental wellbeing, sleep, stress management, and lifestyle habits
  • Recording outcomes and monitoring progress using clinical systems
  • Promoting service uptake and building positive relationships with employees and client stakeholders
  • Representing the service at wellbeing events, campaigns, and awareness activities
  • Supporting delivery of webinars and wider programme initiatives
  • Recognising clinical red flags and following established escalation pathways

  • What You Will Bring

    • Degree Qualified in relevant field of Physiology, Health and Exercise Science or Health Coaching
    • Knowledge and experience of preventative health, nutrition, physical activity, and mental wellbeing principles
    • Skilled in health assessments, interpreting results to create actionable recommendations, through collaboration with named registered clinical colleagues.
    • Organised, pro-active and committed to promoting health lifestyle change through influential and credibility coaching. Confident Communicator, able to adapt style for both individual consultations and group presentations
  • Ability on an infrequent occasion to travel to other locations, for this corporate client.
