- STRABAG UK are seeking an highly motivated Health & Safety Advisor opportunity to join a high-performing project team within the growing Build Sub-Division.
- The HSW Advisor will support the HSW Manager in driving strong Health, Safety and Wellbeing performance across the project. The role is site-based at Radlett, supporting a diverse portfolio of works including self-delivery, civils, earthworks, and roadworks.
- Located at the former Radlett Aerodrome site in Hertfordshire, SEGRO Logistics Park Radlett will deliver a state-of-the-art rail freight terminal complete with extensive distribution warehouses and over 600 acres of enhanced green space.
- The development aims to shift freight transportation from road to rail, significantly reducing carbon emissions and road congestion.
- Construction is anticipated to take place over the next three years.

- Support the delivery of a high-performing Health, Safety and Wellbeing culture across projects, including the STRABAG Better Together programme
- Provide HSW advice and guidance to operational teams and supply chain partners
- Support the planning and delivery of works to ensure risks are identified, assessed, and effectively controlled
- Review and support the development of Safe Systems of Work, including RAMS, ensuring they are suitable and sufficient
- Promote the reduction of risk through effective planning and implementation of controls
- Monitor site activities and undertake inspections, audits, and assurance activities, producing clear reports and supporting timely close-out of actions
- Support delivery teams in planning and carrying out assurance activities
- Support incident reporting and investigations, identifying root causes and ensuring effective implementation of corrective actions
- Health and Safety Degree/Diploma Qualification or experience equivalent with supporting HSW Qualification applicable to the UK e.g. NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Experience in construction
- Membership of IOSH
- Accident Investigation training.
- Good knowledge of applicable UK regulatory and industry standards.
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good communication, data analytics and presentation skills
- Qualification and knowledge of fire risk management in construction (desired)
- Experience/Knowledge and interest in HSW technology, digitalisation and AI implementation and development (desired)
