Healthcare Assistant | Pre-Assessment | Spire Cardiff Hospital | Fixed Term Contract - 12 month | Competitive rate
Spire Cardiff are recruiting an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our warm and friendly Pre-Assessment team on fixed term contract for 12 months.
Duties And Responsibilities
To assist the qualified nursing staff, under their supervision, in providing a high quality, comprehensive nursing service to all patients and users, ensuring a high standard of a patient care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
Undertake routine tasks related to individual’s health and wellbeing.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assisting the team in the provision of exemplary patient care
- Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
- Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies.
- Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.
Who We're Looking For
- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- NVQ Level 3 in healthcare is desirable
- Experience in ECGs, Phlebotomy, Clinical Observations, Basic Nursing Care are essential
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, covering hours between 07:30 – 18:00 and Saturday 08:00 – 13:00
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months
