Band 3 Healthcare Assistant (Renal - Windsor Dialysis Unit)
This is a full time post for 37.5 hours per week.
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday with variable shift of 8 hours/shift (inclusive 30 minute break).
PLEASE NOTE: This post is based at Windsor Dialysis Unit, Old Ambulance Station, 1 Maidenhead Road, Windsor SL4 5EY - and attracts a Fringe payment of 5% of gross basic salary.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will be expected to perform renal-specific competences relating to haemodialysis skills.You will be trained in these abilities.
You will be required to have some renal specialised knowledge to be able to provide excellent care to the haemodialysis patients. The Healthcare Assistant haemodialysis skills clinical competencies will thus also need to be fulfilled.
Following the training, you will be expected to perform these renal specific skills duties among others as an Healthcare Assistant assigned on the Acute Dialysis Team or in the Chronic Haemodialysis Units.
