An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an excellent team within the Women's Clinical Business Unit at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for qualified, experienced healthcare assistants with excellent people skills, who are highly motivated who have a woman centered approach to care.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will assist the team and work alongside the nurses, midwives, and medical staff. We have strong links with the sonographers, specialist midwives and the wider organization.
Job description
You will also need to be flexible, and be able to adjust to the demands of the service. You will deliver basic care needs to women which enable the nursing, midwifery and medical teams to prioritise care.
We operate a 24 hr service therefore you will be required to work a variety of 12 hour shifts that include weekends, night duty and public holidays.

- Experience of working in a health care setting

- Previous experience of delivering care in Women's services or emergency care setting
Skills

- Motivation and commitment to provide a high standard of care
- Reliable, punctual and enthusiastic
- Basic IT skills
- Good communication/interpersonal skills with a range of staff and patients
Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in health/health and social care, QCF Diploma in health, *GNVQ, BTEC in health or health and social care (*required to complete care certificate if not already achieved)
- Care Certificate
- Math & English A - C or equivalent
