Job Title: Healthcare Development Executive

Salary: £41,200 per annum DOE and location + fantastic benefits

Location status: Hybrid (flexible working options available)

Location: Salford, Bupa Place – Staines, Willow House

Permanent/fixed term contract: Permanent

Shift pattern: Full‑time 37.5hrs

About The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and forward‑thinking Healthcare Development Executive to join our Healthcare Management function within Bupa UK Insurance. In this role, you will help shape and enhance the care pathways and services we offer to customers by supporting improvement initiatives, delivering new development projects, and ensuring that healthcare remains accessible, affordable and high‑quality.

You’ll be part of a team dedicated to providing best‑in‑class treatment and care, contributing directly to Bupa’s mission of helping people live longer, healthier and happier lives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the identification of opportunities to enhance customer experience and deliver high‑quality clinical outcomes while keeping healthcare affordable.
  • Contributing to the management and continual improvement of existing healthcare services, pathways and internal controls.
  • Assisting with the design, development, implementation and embedding of new healthcare initiatives across all access channels.
  • Working collaboratively with teams across Bupa UK, including Operations, SD&I, Provider Management and Bupa Health Services.
  • Helping implement robust and sustainable processes to reduce variation, manage risk and strengthen service delivery.
  • Operating within an agile environment and developing working knowledge of agile practices and terminology.
  • Actively engaging in Healthcare Management team initiatives to support a high‑performing and inclusive culture.
  • Ensuring customer experience is central to all decision‑making.
  • Committing to ongoing personal development aligned to the needs of the role and wider team.

  • Key Skills & Experience

    • Experience delivering projects that drive meaningful customer and business performance improvements.
    • Ability to manage and deliver workstreams to tight deadlines and within challenging timeframes.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and experience applying agile practices to support digital and service change.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, managing ambiguity and competing demands.
  • Strong track record of delivering change through collaboration with multi‑functional teams.
  • Competence in defining analytical requirements and using data to inform decisions and service improvements.
