Hotel Services Lead

Ross Hall Hospital

37.5 Hours & Permanent

Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Hotel Services Lead to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties Of This Role Include

  • Manage and support the Portering and Housekeeping teams to ensure timely and professional delivery of services across all areas of the hospital.
  • Oversee core portering duties, including patient and goods movement, site security, and gas management, where applicable.
  • Ensure all housekeeping services, including room and theatre cleaning, laundry handling, and room setup, meet policy and infection prevention standards.
  • Carry out cleaning audits and ensure corrective actions are followed through effectively.
  • Act as a key point of contact for patients, visitors, and consultants, managing feedback on hospitality services and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Ensure staff compliance with all mandatory training and that service delivery adheres to hospital policies and health & safety regulations.

  • Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

    • Previous experience managing operational teams within hospitality or healthcare environments
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • A basic understanding of MS Excel and administrative processes.
    • A hospitality or facilities services qualification (desirable).
    • An understanding of cleanliness and infection control standards in a clinical or hotel setting.
    • A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
