As a key member of our senior leadership team, the Head Housekeeper plays a highly visible and influential role in shaping the experience of every guest who walks through our doors. Drawing on strong experience in leading housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas, you will drive the evolution, development, and delivery of our housekeeping brand standards.

Working in close partnership with the Hotel Manager and Operations Manager, you will lead the implementation and consistent execution of our housekeeping strategy across the entire guest journey.

About you:

  • An experienced Assistant Head Housekeeper or Head Housekeeper with strong understanding of Health & Safety and housekeeping best practice.
  • Comfortable with setting goals and achieving targets
  • Exceptionally organised with strong time-management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for presentation.
  • Able to lead, coach, and inspire a guest-centric team culture.
  • Comfortable analysing data and translating strategy into practical action.
  • Driven by quality, efficiency, and delivering memorable guest experiences

  • Main Responsibilities:

    You will inspire, engage, and develop a passionate Housekeeping Team—championing high performance, wellbeing, and teamwork—while ensuring every interaction and every space reflects our commitment to exceptional hospitality. With a natural passion for service, you will be motivated to deliver personalised, world-class care to our guests, internal teams, clients, and Directors, ensuring requests are handled promptly, confidently, and with a can-do attitude that turns the impossible into the achievable.

    • Lead the delivery of exceptional cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction targets.
    • Maintain strong collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to support maintenance, VIP visits, and show rounds.
    • Manage departmental budgets, payroll, productivity, and cost-control measures.
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing, multi-skilled housekeeping team.
  • Oversee performance management, wellbeing, and compliance with People & Culture policies.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety, Fire Safety, COSHH, and hygiene standards are consistently met.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process alignment, efficiency initiatives, and time-in-motion reviews.
  • Lead daily and weekly briefings to ensure consistent service delivery and operational readiness.
  • This role will include operational shift coverage across a seven-day senior duty management rota. Working at properties across our England Hotels may also be required from time to time.
