We’re excited to invite applications for the role of HR Manager, New Zealand, a senior people leadership role supporting our leaders and team members across 7 regions throughout both the North and South Islands.

As Lineage continues to grow and evolve in New Zealand, this role will play a critical part in shaping an engaged, safe, high-performing and future-ready workforce.

Reporting into the Vice President Human Resources for Asia Pacific based in Australia, you’ll work closely with senior leaders across the business to deliver impactful people strategies in a geographically dispersed, operational environment.

This is a hands-on, visible role that requires regular travel and strong stakeholder engagement to drive consistency, connection and impact across our network.

Key Focus Areas

  • Lead the delivery of Lineage’s people and culture strategy across New Zealand, aligned to global and APAC priorities
  • Champion Safety as our #1 value, embedding it into leadership behaviours, people processes, training and engagement initiatives
  • Partner with senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability, workforce planning, organisational design and talent development
  • Actively support the development of Lineage as an awesome place to work through people-focused initiatives that enhance team member engagement, learning and performance
  • Guide and develop a small, capable HR team, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality HR operations and people practices across a widely dispersed, multi-site environment
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, influencing outcomes through strong relationships and practical, commercially grounded HR solutions

About You

  • Proven HR leadership experience in fast-paced, complex, multi-site operational environments
  • Relevant qualifications in HR, Business or Commerce
  • Strong capability in culture, engagement, leadership development and change
  • Excellent understanding of NZ employment law and experience in negotiation collective agreements with different unions
  • Comfortable working with and influencing senior stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes
  • A people-first leader who is visible, pragmatic and passionate about safety and team member experience
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly across New Zealand to stay connected to sites and teams
