Great Oaks School and Rosewood Free School form part of the Specialist Schools Trust (SST). Great Oaks is a secondary special school for pupils with learning difficulties and Rosewood Free School is a specialist school catering for children with severe or profound learning and physical disabilities.
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Human Resources professional to work Trust-wide across our school sites in Southampton. The post will be accountable to the Business Leader for Human Resources and Administration for the Trust.
The purpose of the role is to provide an effective and efficient HR administrative and advisory service to the Trust, the Trust Leadership Team and the Business Leader – Human Resources and Administration, and to assist with all aspects of the development and effective operation of the human resources function with the Trust, including that of its extended services, and fulfilling requirements of safer recruitment legislation.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm (37.0 hours per week) (one day 3.30 pm finish to be agreed with Business Leader), plus 30 minutes unpaid lunch break. Term time only. Grade 8/SCP 26, FTE £36,124, pro-rata £30,983 per annum (44.6 weeks). Weeks worked 44.6 weeks.
