We are seeking an experienced IDAM Architect to define and govern the architecture, standards, and integration patterns for leveraging Claude, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic AI within Identity & Access Management (IDAM). The role focuses on ensuring AI-enabled IDAM capabilities—such as access request copilots, policy reasoning, and automated fulfilment with controls—are designed to be secure, resilient, auditable, and fully aligned with enterprise architecture and risk management expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and govern the architectural framework and standards for integrating Claude/LLMs and agentic AI into IDAM systems.
- Design secure-by-design AI-enabled IDAM capabilities including access request copilots, policy reasoning engines, and automated fulfilment workflows with embedded controls.
- Ensure resilience, auditability, and compliance of AI-driven IDAM solutions in line with enterprise risk and security policies.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, risk, and technology teams to align AI-IDAM initiatives with organisational standards and strategies.
- Develop integration patterns and best practices for embedding AI within IDAM processes and platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on AI and IDAM architecture to stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Stay abreast of emerging AI, IDAM, and cybersecurity trends to continuously improve architecture and controls.
- Proven experience in Identity & Access Management architecture and design.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including Claude, LLMs, and agentic AI, and their application within IDAM.
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of AI ethics, responsible AI, and privacy considerations in IDAM.
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled automation in access management or related domains.
- Strategic thinker with strong leadership and influencing capabilities.
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work across diverse teams and functions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering secure, compliant, and resilient solutions.
- This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite in London or Sheffield.
- The contract is inside IR35.
