Description

At William Grant & Sons, we are entering an exciting phase of our IFS Cloud transformation, strengthening the foundations of our ERP landscape to support the business for the long term.

As we continue our journey, we’re looking for an experienced IFS/ERP Solution Architect to help design and deliver robust, scalable solutions across a complex, multi company manufacturing environment.

Our Solution Design function plays a key role in ensuring that our ERP platform supports the real needs of the business, is aligned with our architecture principles, and contributes to a cohesive, future‑ready technology landscape.

If you are motivated by solving complex challenges, collaborating with colleagues across different disciplines, and shaping solutions that make a tangible impact, we would love to hear from you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Designing end to end ERP solutions within a complex, multi company manufacturing and supply chain environment
  • Taking accountability for ERP solution design within IFS, operating within agreed architecture and governance frameworks
  • Translating business requirements, defined in partnership with Business Engagement, into simple, robust, and maintainable solution designs
  • Working collaboratively with technical teams to ensure designs are understood, feasible, and delivered as intended
  • Engaging with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet real operational needs
  • Contributing to cohesive, consistent solution designs across the wider ERP landscape
  • Sharing knowledge within the team and supporting collective ownership of design standards and outcomes

  • About You

    • Alternative IFS experience, including those from project‑based industries, would also be considered
    • Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, balancing business priorities with solution integrity
    • Strong ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical designs
    • Ideally possess experience working with manufacturing and supply chain processes
    • IFS Cloud experience is ideal
    • Strong IFS10 functional knowledge, with experience of (or exposure to) upgrading to IFS Cloud, is a strong advantage
    • Broader ERP solution design experience as a minimum
    • A collaborative mindset, with a genuine interest in working as part of an established team to build shared understanding and cohesive designs

This role offers an exciting opportunity to deepen your ERP and cloud expertise, influence the future direction of our IFS platform, and contribute directly to the evolution of our global manufacturing environment.
