If you’re looking for a role where you can make an impact and grow with us, now is the perfect time to come on board.

We are seeking an iManage DMS Technician to join our Document Management Systems (DMS) Team. Reporting to the DMS Team Leader, this role will play a key part in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our iManage Document Management System.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a variety of iManage-related projects, enhancements, and support requests.
  • Stay up to date with upcoming iManage features, releases, known issues, and security advisories, ensuring appropriate communication and action.
  • Monitor system health, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimise all aspects of the DMS environment.
  • Lead awareness and training initiatives to promote best practice and increase adoption across the firm.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service through consistent engagement with business stakeholders.
  • Liaise with external vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues and proactive maintenance.

  • Skills & Experience Required

    SQL – Critical Requirement

    • Advanced SQL Server querying skills are essential, ideally with hands-on experience working within iManage database environments.
    • This includes writing complex queries for analysis, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and supporting DMS-related reporting and data integrity activities.

    Technical & Professional Skills

    • Strong technical expertise in iManage Work (versions 9.x and 10).
    • Experience managing third-party relationships and overseeing SLAs.
    • Background working in an ITIL-aligned support environment, particularly around change, release, and problem management.
    • Proven ability to design, present, and implement improvements to systems and infrastructure.
  • Experience with system housekeeping, administration tasks, and adherence to internal controls and security standards.
  • Able to support business users and technical teams and communicate confidently at all levels.

  • Person Specification

    • A confident communicator who can partner with the business to evolve DMS use cases.
    • Able to work both collaboratively and independently across projects of varying complexity.
    • Tenacious, methodical, and analytical in troubleshooting.
    • Calm under pressure with strong prioritisation skills.
    • Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

    Who are we looking for?

    • We don't have a type. We believe our differences are our strength; varied cultures, approaches and experience can only benefit us.

    What do we offer?

    • You can be yourself: It takes everyone to make us who we are. We’re a culture of diverse perspectives, with each of us making unique contributions that make us better together.
    • In the office or WFH?
: We think the best balance is more time in the office than at home, so we operate a 60:40 rule.
  • Beyond salary: We offer plenty of benefits; private medical insurance, health cash plan, dental insurance, life assurance, critical illness insurance, matched pension contributions up to 7%, holiday trading, plus many more. Visit: Reward & Benefits ¦ Fieldfisher.
  • Modern Office Space: Located in the iconic Titanic Quarter with excellent commuter links and parking nearby.
  • Nurturing your talent: Take a 'build a career' approach to your training. You'll be on a pathway but free to wander if you see something you'd like to study more closely.
  • Funnel your interests: You have a life outside work, and we can help it to flourish. Join clubs, affinity networks, inclusive events, and pro bono/charity initiatives.

  • Inclusion is not exclusive:

If all our differences are highlighted, no one stands out for being different. At Fieldfisher, all our rich diversity is celebrated.

We will provide the equipment to allow you to shine, at interview and beyond. Just let us know what you need.
