We are supporting a Real Estate group looking to hire a Senior Tax Manager to support on all areas of tax. The role reports directly into the CFO.
No real estate experience is needed. Instead, we are looking for a track record with corporate tax compliance and, advisory. This is a great step up for someone who is currently in-house.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement the group’s global tax strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Provide proactive tax planning recommendations to optimise the group’s tax position.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
- Support corporate structuring, M&A activity, and cross‑border transactions.
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Oversee timely and accurate preparation, review, and filing of all corporate tax returns across relevant jurisdictions.
- Lead the group’s tax reporting processes, including year‑end reporting
- Ensure strong governance over tax processes, controls, and documentation.
- Maintain the group’s global transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with guidelines.
Tax Risk Management
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate tax risks across the group.
- Implement and maintain tax governance frameworks and ensure alignment with internal and external audit requirements.
- Manage tax audits, enquiries, and relationships with tax authorities.
Business Partnering
- Act as a key adviser to senior leadership, finance teams, and operational units.
- Collaborate closely with treasury, legal, and finance functions on cross‑functional initiatives.
- Provide commercial tax input on contracts, business operations, and new market entries.
