About The Role
We are seeking a commercially driven and highly organised
Inbound Lead Manager to play a pivotal role in converting marketing-generated demand into qualified commercial opportunities.
The role is remote but ideally we would like candidates based within an hour of Leicester or Northampton for initial training and meetings.
This is a critical revenue enablement role, acting as the bridge between marketing activity and partner-led business development. The position has been created to establish a scalable, repeatable lead management process that improves conversion rates, enhances client experience, and maximises return on marketing investment.
The Inbound Lead Manager will take ownership of all inbound enquiries generated through channels including PPC, SEO, website enquiries, and other digital marketing activity, ensuring every opportunity is responded to promptly, qualified consistently, and progressed effectively.
This role will reduce reliance on individual partners for early-stage lead handling, improve pipeline visibility, and help create a more predictable and scalable revenue engine.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & Qualification
- Take ownership of all inbound marketing-generated enquiries across digital and direct channels.
- Respond to inbound leads promptly and professionally within agreed service levels.
- Qualify all inbound leads against agreed criteria to determine suitability and commercial potential.
- Categorise leads appropriately as Qualified, Nurture, or Disqualified.
- Book qualified meetings for partners and fee earners, ensuring effective handover and briefing.
- Manage structured follow-up processes to maximise conversion opportunities.
- Re-engage dormant leads where appropriate.
Revenue Conversion & Pipeline Development
Pipeline visibility and reporting accuracyContribution to improved ROI from inbound marketing activity
Essential
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in lead management, business development, inside sales, or client qualification roles
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of conversion-focused lead management
- Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate pipeline data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
- Confidence handling early-stage client conversations professionally
- Results-driven mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively across marketing and senior stakeholder teams
Desirable
- Experience in professional services, legal, financial, or consultancy environments
- Familiarity with digital lead generation channels including PPC, SEO, and website conversion
- Experience in marketing attribution or funnel performance analysis
