Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in data analytics (local government experience desirable)
- Knowledge of and proficiency in business systems and software applications that support data collection and analysis and a high standard of ICT literacy - Excel/Google Sheets, Data governance, management and security
- Experience cleansing and processing large data sets to defined standards
- Experience supporting projects and delivering identified outcomes to deadlines

The Chief Executive’s Department brings together key council functions such as Transformation, Communications, Engagement, Insight and Performance at the heart of the council.
Within this department, the Insight, Strategy and Performance Service plays an important strategic role in ensuring the Council is informed by insight to understand where change is needed, and how strategic priorities can best be achieved. The service plays a critical part in strengthening the Council’s planning, governance, and improvement frameworks to ensure they support delivery of the Council Plan and the Medium Term Financial Strategy.
Our service works across multiple disciplines, collaborating with colleagues, councillors, senior leadership, partners and other external stakeholders.
The Insight & Data Team provides an information and data analytics function for the whole Council. Our local authority is passionate about evidence led service design and transformation and the team has a key role to play in that. The range of services accessing our team ensures that we have a varied, stimulating portfolio of projects.
