Description
VisitScotland is Scotland’s National Tourism Organisation, and we’re proud to promote the wealth of incredible features our country has to offer. Our aim is to benefit Scotland by growing its tourism industry and giving it a renowned presence in the global marketplace.

  • VisitScotland’s Data and Insight team plays a vital role in turning data into decisions that support Scotland’s visitor economy. The team brings together four specialist functions Data Products & Platforms, Visitor, Market & Experience Insight, Strategic Measurement & Policy Insight, and Insight Activation & Partnerships to deliver trusted data products, research, modelling and evidence that shape organisational strategy.
  • This role sits within the Insight Activation & Partnerships (IAP) team, which ensures insights are communicated effectively, understood by users and embedded across VisitScotland, government and the wider sector. IAP translates evidence into action and supports the adoption of insight products so they directly influence decision‑making.
  • As part of this specialist team, the Insight Enablement Manager transforms complex data and research into clear, decision‑ready narratives that support organisational choices. The role leads the implementation of a new knowledge management environment and a generative‑AI‑powered insight solution, helping ensure evidence is synthesised and shared efficiently across the organisation.
  • The postholder will design and manage supplier onboarding, build a centralised insight hub, and deliver training and engagement activity to make insight discovery faster and more effective. Working closely with colleagues across Data and Insight, Technology and Corporate Affairs, they will ensure new systems and processes are embedded sustainably. This fixed‑term role is key to ensuring insights become dynamic stories that inform strategic conversations and drive action—rather than static reports—strengthening how insight is curated, understood and applied across VisitScotland.
