Description
As UBY UK Limited continues to grow and enjoy commercial success we are looking to expand our team in London. This is a new role for an ambitious and career focussed engineer with experience in the instrumentation and monitoring system sector.

Role

You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various instrumentation and monitoring systems (primarily environmental). You will also be involved in the production of quality and safety documents, such as installation reports and RAMS, and frequent review of monitoring system status via our online platform. Quality, safety, and performance standards are to be always met and compliance with security protocols strictly maintained. You will be reporting to the UK Operations Manager. The role also offers a company van and fuel card.

Experience

  • BTEC Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar
  • Proven experience in instrumentation and monitoring on construction projects
  • Basic understanding of sensor configuration and installation
  • Basic understanding of data acquisition systems and data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and guidelines
  • Confident reporting, communication, and client liaison skills

  • Responsibilities

    Working closely with UBY's operations manager and broader UK team. Will be required to liaise with client's site team to arrange and confirm site access and installation requirements

    Configure sensors and UBY platform, prior to system installation and as works progress

    Install and commission sensors and data loggers in accordance with UBY's standard operating procedures and project specifications

    Maintain monitoring systems and calibration status (hardware and platform)

    Maintain and update HSEQ documents, e.g., install reports / shift report/ RAMS / ITPs
