Interim Governance Manager

We are currently working in partnership with a prestigious arts university who are recruiting for an interim Governance Manager.

Our client is looking for someone to assist with an internal audit, identifying policy and processes that can be improved upon.

The rate is negotiable dependent upon experience, with the client happy to look at Manager and above level experience and will pay accordingly.

The ideal candidate will have Higher Education experience, but the client is open to looking at experience gained in other fields.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting them during a period of process review, advising and leading on improvement
• The following areas will be targeted, but the client is open to hearing about any possible improvements:
• Governor recruitment and induction
• Digital transformation; use of SharePoint in particular
• Policy documents and accessibility
• Whilst actual line management is not part of this role, acting as a point of knowledge for any queires more junior governance staff may have

Experience required:

• Exceptional knowledge of governance functions and processes

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
