We are delighted to be partnering with a global, medium sized financial services group, who are actively looking for a UK based Interim M&A Project Manager. Our client will need the individual to start in the coming 2 weeks and the initial contract is likely to last 3+ months with s possibility of a longer term position thereafter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting a complex M&A transaction (pre-deal) with complex co-ordination work
- Working with leaders across the buying and selling businesses to gather and present critical information
- Manage multiple external advisors for both parties including but not limited to Accounting firms, Law firms and Corporate Finance firms.
- Accountability for reviewing and and presenting Financial, Legal and other information as part of the transaction
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience within a purely M&A focused role ideally in-house (to manager or VP level) and with a background in a leading advisory firm (Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Transaction services or M&A Law) with track record coordinating multiple M&A deals over the last 4-12 years
- Relevant qualifications in either Finance or Law
- Proven, very strong commercial and analytical skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
