We are recruiting for Interpretation & Exhibitions Apprentice (Public Engagement) at Hampton Court Palace, giving you a fantastic opportunity to grow your Exhibition Interpretation skills whilst working at the beautiful Hampton Court Palace.
Being an apprentice is an exciting challenge – often demanding but hugely rewarding. You will be training within a heritage environment, working alongside and learning from our experienced and dedicated team, developing skills and knowledge.
The role will involve assisting the Interpretation Officer in Maintenance of exhibitions, including coordinating the design and production of visitor facing signs and maps. This role will require you to communicate effectively with your colleagues and being the on-site contact for the Interpretation Team.
Whilst Studying Towards Your Apprenticeship You Will Also
- Assisting with the maintenance of exhibitions and interpretation on visitor routes
- Attending cross-departmental walk rounds to assess maintenance requirements of
exhibitions and interpretation
- Coordinating the design and production of visitor-facing signs and maps
- Coordinating the storage of props, displays, setworks, and AV for seasonal and
temporary exhibitions.
- Being the on-site contact for the Interpretation team at Hampton Court Palace
