Description

Company Description

Founded in 2022, Growth Credit Partners (GCP) is a European-focused private credit investment firm providing tailored financing solutions to high-quality, tech-enabled growth companies. Our investment approach emphasises fundamental credit underwriting, with a focus on senior secured instruments, often with additional equity upside. We typically invest between €20 million and €100 million+ per transaction.

Our team consists of seasoned investors with extensive experience in Private Credit, Private Equity, and Special Situations. GCP was founded by Dennis Klieber (ex-Blackstone, Lone Star, Centerbridge) and Damian Hahnloser (ex-GIC, PrimeStone).

Role Description

GCP is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Investment Team in London across two roles:

  • Investment Analyst (full-time) – 1–3 years’ relevant experience. A driven, analytical professional ready to contribute across the full investment process from day one.
  • Investment Intern (3–6 months+) – Penultimate or final-year students, recent graduates, or MBA candidates with prior work or internship experience. A hands-on introduction to growth credit investing, with the potential to extend or convert into a permanent role for strong performers.

We are a tight-knit, entrepreneurial team at an exciting stage of growth. You will work directly on live transactions across the full deal lifecycle. These roles offer significant exposure, early responsibility, and a real opportunity to develop as an investor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investment Analysis & Due Diligence – Conduct in-depth research and fundamental analysis on potential investments, assessing industry trends, business models, unit economics, leadership teams, competitive positioning, and risks.
  • Financial Modelling & Valuation – Build detailed financial models and perform scenario analysis to evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Deal Execution – Support the structuring and execution of transactions, including documentation, legal review, and negotiations.
  • Investment Committee Engagement – Prepare investment memos and participate in Investment Committee discussions.
  • Sourcing & Market Coverage – Support deal sourcing efforts through market mapping, sector research, attending industry conferences, and meeting companies and sponsors.
  • Portfolio Management – Monitor the performance of existing investments, track key metrics, and provide ongoing analysis and reporting.

  • What You Bring

    For the Analyst role:

    • 1–3 years’ experience in Private Equity, Private Credit / Special Situations, or Investment Banking (M&A)
    • Technical proficiency in financial modelling and valuation.
    • Strong commercial judgment and an ability to evaluate business models and their key drivers.

    For the Intern role:

    • Penultimate or final-year student, recent graduate, or MBA candidate.
    • Prior work or internship experience in finance, investing, or a related analytical field.
    • A genuine passion for investing and a drive to develop as an investor.

    For both roles:

    • Excellent academic background with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
    • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to think critically, challenge ideas, and contribute to debate.
  • A keen interest in technology and tech-enabled businesses.
  • Comfortable using AI tools as part of a day-to-day workflow. Coding or automation skills are a plus.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter mentality, with a strong work ethic and the ability to think independently and take ownership.
