A rapidly expanding, multi-billion dollar AUM boutique hedge fund that have achieved market leading performance in its space, are looking to make a newly created marketing team hire.
Supporting the Head of Sales and an Investor Relations Manager, the investor relations analyst will take ownership of marketing support responsibilities (freeing up their time to focus on core fundraiser + investor management tasks). Example BAU responsibilities include making sure that marketing materials and presentations are up to date, managing the CRM and following up with investors / setting up meetings for the sales team. The hire can expect to be in investor meetings from an early stage - you will also be the first point of contact for investor questions & queries. You will be tasked with putting together ad-hoc research and presentations to assist with internal decision making (around marketing strategy).
The firm will re-hire this role within 2yrs and so this hire will then progress within the firm. Longer term, it is reasonable work towards a role more directly aligned to capital formation, or a more senior IR position internally.
We are ideally looking for a current marketing support / IR / client services junior (roughly 2-4yrs experience in this space) who is looking for a step up, more accountability etc. Candidates should have a strong academic profile. Strong writing, excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
The role can pay up to an £80k base salary. A large % bonus potential is on offer, with the variable dependant on individual performance.
The fund has a relatively flexible WFH policy – the set rule is for employees to be in the office 3 days per week minimum, but additional flexibility is possible when required.
