What you will do as Investor Relations Manager

The Investor Relations Manager will be responsible for servicing the existing LCM client base whilst also supporting the firm’s efforts to grow the COPS and SOLO strategies. LCM’s investor base includes some of the most prestigious institutional Private Credit investors globally, including Pension Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Foundations, Family Offices and Insurance companies. The Investor Relations team is currently made up of a Managing Director, one Investor Relations Manager, two Investor Relations Associates and one Investor Relations Analyst and as such the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain significant exposure to Limited Partners and a broad variety of work.

From day one you’ll be fully involved within the Investor Relations team with specific projects and tasks in areas such as:

Preparing fund related marketing and client reporting materials (e.g. presentations, DDQs, quarterly investment reports, strategy factsheets and flyers, LPAC materials)
Managing client queries in a timely and professional manner
Maintaining excellent standard of client service through communications regarding fund updates, fund performance and investment information

Supporting fundraising activities and assist with client on-boarding process

Identifying areas for process and client service improvements on an on-going basis

Acting as the project management lead on Limited Partner initiatives to further support our clients’ needs

Role requirements

6+ years’ work experience, and prior professional experience in Private Credit preferable
Strong communication skills - articulate, confident and self-assured; able to communicate effectively with both clients and internal colleagues
Extremely high attention to detail with excellent written and numeracy skills, with clear evidence of mathematical ability
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint & Excel)
Ability to deal with wide variety of workstreams and multi-task
Other relevant professional / financial qualifications may also be of benefit (e.g. CFA, ACA, IMC)
Enjoys working independently and as part of a team

Delivering on client requests to a high standard in a timely manner with consistent messaging

Building strong internal relationships with colleagues across the LCM Fund Finance, Investment, Legal and Capital Solutions teams

A team-player who proactively communicates across all levels of the Investor Relations team (from Analyst to Managing Director) with an ability to loop-in the relevant teams across the business as required to ensure client deliverables are met

Demonstrable product knowledge with a clear understanding of the investment case, with the ability to articulate LCM’s strategies with confidence

3rd round 60-minute face to face interview with IR Manager & IR Associate
