IT Applications Manager – Finance Systems (D365 F&O)

Now, we’re looking for an experienced IT Applications Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising our enterprise systems—particularly Finance and Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations.
The Role
This is a high-impact, enterprise-wide role where technology meets business strategy. You’ll lead complex IT initiatives that support Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, and HR, with a strong focus on financial systems and processes.
Working closely with business leaders and the Director of IT Applications, you’ll identify process gaps, lead system implementations, and ensure our applications deliver real business value—on time and on budget.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end implementation and enhancement of enterprise applications, with a focus on D365 Finance & Operations
- Act as a Business Analyst and project lead for major initiatives, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support
- Partner with Finance teams on month-end close, project accounting, and system optimisation
- Drive process mapping, solution design, testing, and deployment
- Develop ERP, CRM, and BI reports and dashboards
- Provide Tier 2/3 application support and deliver effective user training
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (finance or accounting background preferred)
- Extensive experience in business analysis, IT applications, or project management
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience with D365 / ERP systems
- Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting, and project accounting
- Proven success delivering ERP and CRM implementations
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and external partners with confidence
