Job Purpose:

We're looking for a customer-focused and detail-driven IT Project Manager

to join our SME Project Management team. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality technology projects that help our clients succeed, managing timelines, expectations, and communication with confidence.

What we're looking for:

You're a confident project manager who thrives on structure, ownership, and creating a seamless customer experience. You're organised, process-led, and skilled at balancing technical complexity with real-world delivery. You'll be:
✔ Experienced in managing multiple IT projects simultaneously
✔ A strong communicator who can build rapport with stakeholders at all levels
✔ Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining documentation, reporting, and task tracking
✔ Resilient under pressure, with strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills
✔ A collaborative team player with a customer-first mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer requirements as presented by the sales team and clarify and/or challenge as appropriate but with a view to kicking off the project within the agreed SLA
  • Develop appropriate and, when required, detailed plans for each project involving all relevant resources.
  • Execute the project plan ensuring clear and regular communication, with appropriate engagement of all necessary departments involved whilst continually ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Actively track project progress, including forecast, appointed and completion dates to ensure projects are delivered as per the requirements and within the agreed timeline.
  • Review feedback from customers and engineers (incl. Surveys and job sheets) to ensure requirements are being met and that any scope or assumption changes are reported back to the account manager and customer to address any changes required
  • Provide regular and timely updates to any in-house systems to ensure visibility of progress and workload and that project governance is being followed.
  • Skills & Experience:

    • Proven ability to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously
    • 100% focused and committed to the role of project management with a demonstrable ability to take ownership and manage multiple customer projects of varying complexity in an efficient and controlled manner.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), adaptable to different audiences
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Professional, customer-focused approach to problem-solving and escalation handling
  • Demonstrated ability to follow process and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge across teams
  • Commitment to results, targets, and delivering quality outcomes
  • Proficiency in MS Word & Excel, and maintaining clear and accurate project, customer and task information
