We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
🔹 Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
• Formal training or certification on Java concepts and proficient applied experience.
• Excellent understanding of Java fundamentals and frameworks (Spring Boot), object-oriented programming paradigms, multi-threading, messaging technologies, and computer networks.
• Experience in building high-performance, latency-sensitive Java applications.
• Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting software running in a Linux environment, with familiarity in Linux operating systems, system utilities, containers, and cloud architectures/services.
• Experience with modern testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Test Framework.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating with globally distributed engineers and stakeholders.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and distributed messaging technologies such as Kafka.
🔹 Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
• Hands-on experience with another statically compiled language such as Golang, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with gRPC and Google Protocol Buffers.
• Experience with caching technologies such as Redis.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience designing and working with resilient SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., CockroachDB).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as ReactJS.
• Certified Kubernetes and public cloud knowledge (e.g., CKAD and AWS certifications).
