Eligibility for British Government Roles
To be considered for a role with a British Government client through mthree, you must meet specific eligibility criteria and, if successful, complete the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and, where required, Security Check (SC) clearance. BPSS is the UK Government’s mandatory pre-employment screening standard and includes verification of your identity, right to work in the UK, a minimum three-year employment history check, and a basic criminal record check for unspent convictions. Roles requiring access to classified information may additionally require SC clearance, which involves more detailed vetting of personal, employment, financial, and security related information, and typically requires at least five years of UK residency to enable meaningful checks.
