Business Analyst Graduate Programme (mthree Alumni Programme)

Location: UK‑wide opportunities supporting mthree’s Investment Banking and Central Government clients

Start Date: April/May 2026

Programme: mthree Alumni Graduate Programme

Eligibility for British Government Roles

To be considered for a role with a British Government client through mthree, you must meet specific eligibility criteria and, if successful, complete the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and, where required, Security Check (SC) clearance.

BPSS is the UK Government’s mandatory pre‑employment screening standard and includes:

  • Verification of your identity
  • Confirmation of your right to work in the UK
  • Employment history checks covering a minimum of the last three years
  • A basic criminal record check for unspent convictions

Some roles requiring access to classified information may additionally require SC clearance, which involves:

  • Detailed vetting of personal, employment, financial, and security‑related information
  • Residency requirements (typically at least five years of UK residency) to allow meaningful checks

  • Start your career supporting critical Banking or Government transformation

Looking to launch your career in Business Analysis while contributing to public‑sector systems used by millions? Through the mthree Alumni Graduate Programme, you’ll receive specialist training, ongoing career support, and the opportunity to work with major Global Banks or UK Central Government departments — with no training bonds, exit fees, or hidden catches.

mthree partners with leading organisations across government, finance, energy, retail, healthcare, and more.

We are now hiring for multiple graduate opportunities supporting Global Investment Banks and Central Government clients across the UK.

    About the role

As a Business Analyst Graduate Consultant, you will support change, transformation, and technology projects that underpin essential Government services.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Supporting requirements gathering sessions and workshops
  • Documenting business needs, processes, and functional requirements
  • Creating process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Analysing current vs. target processes to identify improvements
  • Assisting with project delivery across Agile or hybrid environments
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across departments and specialist teams
  • Preparing documentation such as business cases, process flows, and reports
  • Supporting project ceremonies, governance, and status updates

  • If you enjoy problem‑solving, communication, and improving how systems work, this is an ideal first step into a Business Analyst career.
