About the Role
We are looking for a Junior IT Support professional to assist with day-to-day technical support for users, systems, and devices. This role is ideal for individuals starting their career in IT who are interested in developing hands-on experience in troubleshooting, system support, and user assistance.
You will work with the IT team to help ensure systems, applications, and devices operate efficiently across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and user-related IT issues
- Assist with installation and configuration of laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Support users with login issues, password resets, and system access requests
- Troubleshoot basic operating system and application problems
- Maintain IT equipment and perform routine system updates
- Document support requests and solutions in the ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT support staff when required
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to IT support or helpdesk environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 or similar productivity tools
- Basic understanding of ticketing or IT service management systems
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Entry-level candidates, recent graduates, or individuals with relevant training are encouraged to apply
