An opportunity has arisen to join the Catering Department at East Surrey Hospital. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated team player with a flexible approach to work and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
This role is based within our busy catering operation, where we prepare and serve meals to more than 750 patients three times a day, as well as support service in the Three Arches Restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing food and serving customers in both patient and retail areas.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Ensuring effective stock rotation and assisting with stock replenishment.
Providing a consistently high standard of customer care to patients, staff, and visitors.
Complying with all food safety policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
Supporting manual handling tasks, including deliveries and function setups.
Requirements
Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a customer-focused approach.
