Paterson & Cooke (UK) Ltd is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Cornwall team.
This is a hands-on technical role supporting laboratory testing for mining and resources projects. The work carried out in our laboratory helps inform engineering design decisions for projects around the world, including mine backfill, tailings and slurry transport systems.
The role would suit someone with laboratory or technical experience who is organised, practical, detail-focused and keen to develop specialist testing skills within an international engineering consultancy.
The successful candidate will support the preparation, execution, recording and reporting of laboratory test work within a busy technical environment. This will include working accurately to defined procedures, maintaining good laboratory records, handling samples and equipment safely, and contributing to the smooth running of the laboratory.
In return, Paterson & Cooke offers a competitive annual salary for the position. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for annual bonus compensation based on company and individual performance.
