This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rugby for a Lead Application Engineer. The Lead Application Engineer will be responsible for leading the technical execution of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement application solutions, and ensuring delivery excellence for client projects. The role involves requirements gathering, systems analysis, technical design, prototyping, and testing, as well as providing post-implementation support and resolving issues. The engineer will also be expected to support innovation initiatives, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
- Strong skills in application development, programming languages, and software engineering principles
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, system architecture design, and system integration
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing software applications
- Demonstrated expertise in project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven experience in industrial or energy-related application engineering is highly beneficial
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in energy technologies is an advantage
- Willingness to work on-site in Rugby and travel occasionally as required
