Our colorectal service is seeking a dedicated and experience a senior Clinical Nurse specialist to join our our colorectal multi-disciplinary team. This is a pivotal role supporting both surgical and cancer pathways for urology patients, ensuring seamless, compassionate care across the service. The role will involve leading the colorectal nursing team.

  • The clinical nurse specialist will be a core member of the multi-disciplinary team in providing optimum quality care to colorectal patients within the hospital providing indirect and direct clinical care.
  • The post holder will provide specialist nursing advice, care and support to patients with colorectal cancer, and other colorectal conditions and will have knowledge and skills to work autonomously in manging their caseload.
  • The post holder will require leadership and management skills to ensure the Colorectal Nursing Service is run effectively and efficiently.
