Eco Systems Group Ltd is seeking a highly capable and motivated Lead Electrician / Electrical Quality Supervisor to play a key role in developing and overseeing the company’s electrical operations.
This is a senior technical position within the business, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who wants to move beyond installation into technical leadership, quality supervision, and the development of our in-house electrical division.
The successful candidate will oversee electrical works across solar PV, electric heating systems, ventilation, and retrofit projects, while progressing into the role of NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS).
A key element of this role will involve helping build and develop Eco Systems Group’s electrical team, including supporting the recruitment and management of electricians and specialist subcontractors.
This position offers the opportunity to become a senior technical leader within a rapidly expanding retrofit and renewable energy contractor, delivering decarbonisation projects across London and the South East.
Electrical Installation ScopeThe role will involve overseeing and supporting installation works including:
- Solar PV systems
- Electric storage heaters
- Heating and hot water controls
- DMEV and ventilation systems
- Electrical works associated with Air Source Heat Pumps
- Consumer unit upgrades and domestic electrical installations
- Electrical testing, commissioning, and certification
Works are typically delivered as part of large-scale retrofit and decarbonisation programmes, including social housing and government-backed energy efficiency schemes.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Quality Supervision- Role of NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS)
- Support inspection and quality assurance of electrical installations
- Ensure compliance with:
- BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
- NICEIC Approved Contractor requirements
- MCS standards for Solar PV
- PAS 2030 / PAS 2035 retrofit standards
- Building Regulations (Part P, Part L, Part F)
- Review electrical certification including:
- Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC)
- Minor Works Certificates
- Solar PV commissioning documentation
- Carry out site visits, inspections, and quality checks
- Support and oversee solar PV installation works
- Supervise electrical aspects of retrofit and decarbonisation projects
- Develop knowledge and oversight of:
- G98 / G99 grid compliance
- Renewable energy systems
- Electrical works associated with ASHP installations
- Work alongside Retrofit Coordinators, Compliance Managers, and Installation Teams
A key responsibility of this role will be helping to develop Eco Systems Group’s electrical capability as the business continues to grow.
This will include:
- Supporting the recruitment of electricians and electrical subcontractors
- Assisting in building and developing the in-house electrical team
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to installers
- Ensuring consistent quality standards and compliance
- Supporting the growth of renewable and retrofit electrical services

Essential QualificationsCandidates must hold:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
While not essential, experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
- Solar PV installation
- NICEIC or NAPIT scheme work
- Social housing projects
- Retrofit and energy efficiency programmes
- PAS 2030 / PAS 2035 understanding
- Renewable energy systems
Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
Essential Experience- Minimum 3–5 years experience as a qualified electrician
- Strong installation experience in domestic or commercial environments
- Experience completing electrical certification
- Good understanding of safe working practices and regulatory compliance
