We are currently looking to recruit a SEN Lifeguard who is able to display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people, work flexibly and be part of a multi-disciplinary team, and has the ability to work effectively without supervision as well as use their own initiative.

We are currently looking to recruit a SEN Lifeguard who is able to display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people, work flexibly and be part of a multi-disciplinary team, and has the ability to work effectively without supervision as well as use their own initiative.
What The Role Will Entail
- Supervising swimming activities at the pool and making sure that safety procedures, guidelines and policies are followed.
- Assess conditions for safety and provide an action plan for any pool emergency
- Ensure that the grounds area by the swimming pool is kept in good condition, working with the Site Manager and Maintenance team to ensure this happens.
- Ensure that the equipment and facilities are kept in a clean and good condition.
What Is Essential For The Role
The ideal candidate would demonstrate initiative and show commitment to the protection and safeguarding of our children and young people. They would be physically fit, active and mobile, possess a clean, full driving licence. As well as this they should be reliable and flexible in their work approach, able to effectively communicate within a team and have an eye for detail.
We are looking for a Qualified Lifesaver, but would be willing to fund a Pool Plant qualification for the right candidate. You must also be willing to complete RLSS UK qualifications and National Pool Plant Operators Certificate.
