About The Role
To work as part of the operational portering team delivering essential items between wards and departments. The post holder will ensure linen and laundry is delivered to the relevant areas required. The post holder will be removing dirty linen and laundry from the relevant areas to be collected for laundering.
You will undertake a number of other basic portering tasks, including BOC, medical gasses, pharmacy and undertaking other basic portering duties and delivering of stores.
The post holder will be responsive to the requirements of the service, sensitive to patient’s needs, courteous and caring to all service users. Work may be planned or require an immediate response.
This is a part time position working 24 hours per week, Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat - 5hrs - 7am - 12pm & Sun - 4hrs - 8am - 12pm.
