There is an opportunity for a locum appointment for 12 months as a consultant Neurosurgeon within the Department of Neurosurgery.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard of diagnosis and treatment to outpatients and inpatient work, in elective and emergency Neurosurgery (Cranial & Non Complex Spine)
The neurosurgery department provides care to adult patients with emergency and elective conditions. The nearest paediatric neurosurgical unit is 125 miles but there is a paediatric spinal service in Exeter.
Emergency care is only provided to children in Plymouth when it is expedient to do so.

- Full GMC registration
- Evidence of general neurosurgical experience and use of intra-operative neurophysiological adjuncts.

- Possession of other post-graduate degrees or qualifications, prizes, awards, distinctions
