Who will you be working with?

Napier Turbocharger, a Wabtec Company, has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join a well-established business that designs, manufactures, and tests industrial turbochargers supplied into the Power Generation, Marine, and Rail Traction industries.

Role: Logistics Coordinator

Salary: £Competitive

Location: LN5 7FD, Lincoln

Contract Type: Full-Time, Perm

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 15:45pm and 07:30am to 15:15pm on Friday

How will you make a difference?

The position will involve undertaking a variety of activities within the Supply Chain Management function. Working as part of a successful team, the role requires you to liaise with internal departments and freight forwarders on a daily basis to ensure business objectives are achieved.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Management of stock between onsite and offsite storage facilities.
  • Spare deliveries and coordination
  • Stores optimisation and stock management
  • Liaise with stores, goods in goods out, and logistics administration.
  • Coordination of goods and products coming in and responsible for the distribution of goods internally and then externally.

  • What do we want to know about you?

    • Must hold a valid UK driving licence
    • Ideally you will have previous experience in an operational logistics environment
    • Experience with an ERP system and importing/exporting would be advantageous.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
