Qualifications

Essential

• GCSE or equivalent in Maths+ English/functional skills/relevant experience

Desirable

• Evidence of further study up to and including degree level or equivalent experience

Experience

Essential

• Extensive Microsoft Office Experience
• Office Experience Substantial experience of working with an Acute Healthcare setting in and administrative role

Desirable

• Experience of working with cancer patients and their relatives

Skills/Knowledge

Essential

• Exceptional communication, organisational skills and administrative skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Exceptional understanding of the Lung Cancer pathway in an acute trust setting
• Knowledge of Caldecott and information governance standards as applied to NHS admin staff

Desirable

• Ability to use and manipulate Trust IT systems across different disciplines such as Radiology and Pathology
• Understanding of medical terminology for Lung Cancer
