Due to the retirement of the current post holder, we are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join the established Lymphoedema team at Florence Nightingale Hospice. This is an exciting time to join the team as we have just merged with the Lymphoedema team at Butterfly house and are reviewing the services offered across the county.
You will need to a be motivated team player, flexible and energetic, to join us, with the ability to work both independently & as part of the already established Lymphoedema teams.
Good communication skills are essential to ensure the continued provision of high quality care for individual patients, along with time management & organisational skills to contribute to the provision & smooth running of our high quality services.
Our patients face a range of life limiting conditions, including cancer, respiratory disease, heart failure, neurological conditions, along with primary / secondary Lymphoedema, lipoedema and non-cancer related chronic oedemas. Your role will be diverse, treating these patients in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, Hospice in-patient unit, day hospice & community.
As a specialised practitioner within the teams, your role will also include providing advice and education for carers and healthcare professionals. This may be individual or group sessions.
