Maintenance Assistant

We have a permanent position available for a Maintenance assistant to join our team at Lakeside North Harbour,

• Starting salary: From £24,000 (Depending on experience)
• Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Typical pattern:Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
• Driving licence: Essential
• DBS: Will be completed before start date
• Training: Provided as needed

Key Responsibilities

This role will support the delivery of fabric and maintenance tasks within NHS Property Services premises. Duties include:

• Carrying out general maintenance and fabric tasks
• Supporting with water hygiene tasks
• Completing customer‑billable works, including:
  • Basic carpentry
  • Painting and decorating
  • General repair work
• Supporting specialist colleagues (electricians, plumbers, etc.) where required

This is a mobile role covering Portsmouth with your base hub being Lakeside North Harbour.
