Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Bolton

Salary: £40,000 per annum (basis salary)

Hours: 07:30am - 16:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Start Date: ASAP

Are you a candidate with a qualification in Mechanical Engineering? Do you have experience of operating in a manufacturing environment and are on the lookout for your next opportunity? JDR Recruitment are currently partnering with one of our key clients in Bolton and this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all production and manufacturing equipment is maintained to the required standard
  • Maintenance and management of mechanical systems across the site
  • Carry out both preventative and reactive (breakdown) maintenance
  • Ensure that all part stocks are maintained
  • Prioritising breakdowns to ensure productivity
  • Working closely with the maintenance team to support on any further duties
  • Accurately log all completed works paperwork
  • Working within all health and safety guidelines

Key Skills / Experiences

  • Experience of mechanical maintenance on CNC wood machines
  • Working maintenance experience on a direct production / manufacturing line
  • Experience of working with plant and machinery within the manufacturing industry
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
  • Pneumatic AND Hydraulics experience
  • A relevant qualification within mechanical engineering (e.g. NVQ, HND, HNC, City and Guild)
