  • Manage critical spares strategy, inventory levels, and obsolescence risk.
Planning, Systems & Data

  • Implement and optimise a CMMS (e.g., Agility/Infor/Fiix/UpKeep/SAP PM) for work orders, PPM schedules, asset hierarchy, and compliance evidence.
  • Use data to track MTBF/MTTR, backlog, PM compliance, and cost to drive decisions and improve reliability.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, OEM manuals, drawings, and asset registers.
Team Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, coach, and develop a multi‑skilled team; manage rotas, training (including electrical safety, MEWP, FLT, LOTO), and competency matrices.
  • Set clear standards for housekeeping (5S), maintenance quality, and safe systems of work.
  • Foster collaborative working with Operations, Production, HSEQ, and Supply Chain.
Projects, Capex & Contractors

  • Scope, justify, and deliver Capex (upgrades, line modifications, new installations) with robust business cases and ROI.
  • Manage contractors (RAMS review, induction, PTW, supervision, close-out) and ensure value for money.
  • Lead continuous improvement (OEE, energy efficiency, wear life optimisation, SMED/changeover reductions).
Budget & Performance

  • Own maintenance Opex and Capex budgets; control spend on labour, spares, and services.
  • Track and report KPIs; present weekly/monthly performance and improvement plans.
